Canossa Health and Social Center Bulihan, Silang, Cavite


The Canossian community in Bulihan was started  by the Sisters from Tondo in 1989 to follow-up the relocated poor people of Tondo in their various needs - health and sanitation, nutrition, livelihood and skills training. Canossa Health and Social Center, was established to house the different activities and programs. On April 28, 1991 Bulihan community was officially established  with these goals: (a) To make permanent our health and social assistance to the former residents (squatters) from Tondo, Manila and other places in the Bulihan resettlement area. (b) To assist in the evangelizing mission of the local Parish of the Risen Christ through establishment of Clinic,  Children’s Nutrition, Maternal Health Care, Income Generating Projects, Skills Training.
